Lovey is seeking a Collections Advisor for its Central Birmingham office-based team. You will manage a portfolio of B2B arrears accounts, contact customers by phone, email, and written communication, and negotiate repayment plans to drive recovery outcomes.

The role offers £30,000–£35,000 per year plus a bonus, with structured training and clear progression within a fast-growing fintech company.

Qualifications

• Experience within the fintech or wider financial services sector, particularly in a lending, brokerage, or SME finance environment in a similar role.
• Target-driven mindset with a strong desire to achieve results.
• Confident communicator, comfortable handling challenging conversations.

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of B2B customer accounts in arrears
• Proactively contact customers via phone, email, and written communication
• Negotiate payment plans and drive successful debt recovery outcomes
• Work towards and exceed monthly collection targets
• Assess customer situations and apply effective collection strategies
• Accurately record all customer interactions and agreements
• Escalate complex or high-risk cases where appropriate
• Ensure full compliance with financial regulations and internal policies
• Contribute to a high-performance, target-driven team culture
