Job summary

tombola is seeking a Backend Game Developer to design, develop and deliver game engines powering our bingo products and to adapt them for our B2B platform. You will build core game logic and extend engines for external partners through our APIs, while ensuring secure, reliable operations at scale.

You will contribute to chat, game certification and supporting systems, participate in CI/CD implementations, and collaborate with product, platform, infra and QA teams to deliver cohesive solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of C# and .NET technologies.
• Experience building backend systems, RESTful APIs and client/server apps.
• Understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases; TSQ L knowledge beneficial.
• Experience with cloud platforms, especially AWS.
• Familiarity with game development concepts and game math.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain game engines that deliver our bingo products.
• Adapt and extend engines for B2B use, integrating with partner-facing APIs.
• Work on supporting systems including chat and game certification.
• Develop highly available, scalable backend services for high volumes of activity.
• Contribute to technical discussions and CI/CD practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery.
