Manpower UK in Oxfordshire is seeking an experienced B2 Certifying Helicopter Engineer to join a role supporting the UK Military Flying Training System (Rotary Wing). You will certify line and non-routine maintenance on Airbus H135/H145 rotorcraft and lead inspections under supervision.

The successful candidate will apply avionics and electrical expertise, supervise fitters, and contribute to flight operations. A competitive salary with joining bonus and a further bonus at 12 months is offered.

Qualifications

• CAA Part 66 B2 Licence required.
• Experience with Airbus H135/H145 rotorcraft preferred.
• Strong technical judgement in a regulated environment.

This permanent B2 Licensed Helicopter Engineer position, based in Oxfordshire, supports the UK Military Flying Training System (Rotary Wing). The successful candidate will certify line and non-routine maintenance plus repairs on Airbus H135/H145 rotorcraft, provide operational support to Flight Operations, and lead inspections under supervision. Duties cover avionics and electrical systems, including replacing line replaceable units and simple testing, alongside supervising avionic and electrical fitters. A negotiable salary is offered with a joining bonus and a further payment at twelve months' service. What you''ll be doing:

• Certify line, non-routine maintenance, and repairs on Airbus H135/H145 rotorcraft
• Provide operational support to Flight Operations
• Lead maintenance inspections and repairs under supervision
• Complete maintenance tasks including avionics and electrical systems
• Replace avionic line replaceable units and perform simple testing
• Supervise avionic and electrical fitters, certifying their work
• Conduct off-aircraft avionic and electrical technical work in the workshop
• Assist with daily hangar operations, aircraft movement, and housekeeping

What you''ll bring:

• Thorough knowledge of helicopter avionic and electrical systems
• Experience with specialised test equipmentoc for avionics and electrical systems
• Up-to-date understanding of CAA regulations, especially Pt 145 and Part M
• Experience with flight and airport operations, line maintenance
• CAA Part 66 B2 Licence (essential)
• Knowledge of UK Military Aviation and MFTS (desirable)
• Experience with Helicopter products and military aviation (desirable)
• Proven track record in flight operations and line maintenance, including certifying roles
