Job summary

Manpower (United Kingdom) currently has a vacancy for a B2 Certifying Engineer to join our client supporting the UK Military Flying Training System (Rotary Wing). The role is based in Oxford or Shropshire with competitive salary and joining bonuses.

You will certify line and non-routine maintenance on Airbus H135/H145 rotorcraft and lead maintenance tasks under supervision. Applicants must hold a CAA Part 66 B2 licence and have thorough knowledge of helicopter avionics and electrical systems,

Qualifications

• CAA Part 66 B2 licence is essential.
• Strong knowledge of helicopter avionics and electrical systems.
• Experience with specialised test equipment for avionics/electrical systems.
• Experience with flight/airport operations and line maintenance.
• Familiarity with UK Military Aviation/MFTS is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Certify line maintenance, non-routine maintenance, and repairs on Airbus H135/H145 rotorcraft.
• Provide operational support to Flight Operations.
• Lead maintenance inspections and repairs under supervision.
• Complete tasks including avionics and electrical systems work.
• Replace avionic line replaceable units and perform simple testing.
• Supervise avionic/electrical fitters and certify their work.
• Conduct off-aircraft avionic/electrical technical work in the workshop.
• Assist with daily hangar operations, aircraft movement and housekeeping.

• CAA Part 66 B2 Licence (essential)
• Knowledge of UK Military Aviation and MFTS (desirable)
• Experience with Helicopter products and military aviation (desirable)
• Proven track record in flight operations and line maintenance, including certifying roles
