Job summary

Aeropeople is recruiting a B2 Licensed Engineer (base maintenance) for a client site in Carterton, Oxfordshire. The role involves certifying maintenance tasks, supervising technical staff, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements to keep aircraft airworthy and mission-ready.

The position includes a mix of day and night shifts on a rotating schedule, plus relocation support on an individual basis. A Type rating and active UK security clearance eligibility are essential.

Qualifications

• CAA B2 licence with at least one type rating and valid Company Authorisation.
• Strong proven experience certifying maintenance tasks in a Base Maintenance environment.
• Solid understanding of zonal maintenance practices and structured maintenance systems.
• Confident using industry-standard technical data systems, manuals and time recording tools.

Responsibilities

• Certify aircraft servicing and maintenance tasks within your scope and regulatory requirements.
• Supervise and support technical staff to ensure safe, compliant work.
• Take ownership of aircraft documentation and timely certification entries.
• Control materials, tooling and equipment; maintain a clean, safe working environment.
• Liaise with Technical Services, Planning and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues and meet schedules.
• Promote health, safety and environmental standards and report issues.
