Job summary

Caerdav in the United Kingdom seeks an experienced B1/B2 Engineer to supervise, mentor and lead a team in base maintenance, ensuring maintenance to Part 145 standards and adherence to internal procedures and SLAs.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years in aircraft maintenance, with 3 years in base maintenance, and a valid B1 Licence (CAA AML or EASA AML). Training for type ratings (B737) may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ aircraft maintenance experience, with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Base Maintenance.
• Ability to use recognised aircraft documentation.
• Broad skillset in aircraft systems, including rigging, component replacement, and modification embodiment.
• Good structural assessment and repair knowledge.
• In-depth knowledge of aircraft system(s).

Responsibilities

• Supervise, mentor and delegate resources to ensure smooth operation and compliance with Part 145 maintenance requirements.
• Lead a team of technicians in base maintenance checks.
• Ensure correct and timely completion of maintenance paperwork and documentation.
• Keep Bay Manager and Production Planners informed of maintenance requirements and issues.
• Uphold safety, quality standards and manage FOD prevention.
• Suggest improvements in working conditions, practices and procedures.
