JMC Aviation is recruiting a B1 Licensed Engineer for a UK charter airline based at Stansted. The role involves hands-on maintenance, certification of work, and supervision of a small team, with responsibilities including occasional outstation duties and flying engineer tasks on short notice.

The successful candidate will hold a UK CAA PART 66 licence with recent line/base maintenance experience, be willing to work a 5x5x4 shift pattern including nights, and be able to travel as required to

Qualifications

• Must hold a UK CAA PART 66 Licence and have a minimum 6 months experience within the past two years on EMB190 GE CF34, A320 CFM/V2500 + Leap, A330 RR T700
• Hold or obtain recency letter from QA Department with Company authorisation from most recent employer
• Provide supporting Logbooks or worksheets demonstrating recency
• EWIS, FTS, HF (Initial + recurrent)
• Previous line and base maintenance experience
• Willing to work away from base to support fleet and operate as flying Engineer or AOG recovery
• Shift work including nights on a 5x5x4 pattern with two weekends off per month
• Full and valid Driving Licence
• Valid Passport with right to reside and work in the UK
• Ability to provide information for 5 year referencing
• Ability to pass pre-employment drugs and alcohol screening

Responsibilities

• Complete tasks on a shift-by-shift basis as directed by the UK Station Manager or Shift Supervisor
• Certify work carried out under personal authorisation
• Supervise mechanics, handlers, Interiors Technicians and aircraft cleaners as allocated
• Familiar with MOE procedures and work instructions affecting duties
• Perform engineering duties away from base or at outstations as detailed by Management
• Operate as a flying engineer on flights requiring such function with short-notice departures
• Ensure cleanliness and interior trim of aircraft meet company standards
• Ensure engineering facilities, vehicles and equipment are clean and serviceable
