Job summary

Farnborough Airport seeks an experienced UK CAA B1 Licensed Aircraft Engineer to join its line maintenance team. You will certify aircraft maintenance, provide AOG and line support, and ensure compliance with regulatory data and company procedures.

The role requires strong diagnostic skills, a full UK driving licence and the right to work in the UK. AOG operations and travel across the UK/Europe are expected as part of the duties.

Qualifications

• UK CAA B1 Aircraft Maintenance Licence (UK licence) required.
• Experience certifying maintenance within licence and company authorisations.
• Business aviation experience preferred but not essential.
• Experience on Cessna Citation, Embraer, HondaJet or Bombardier advantageous.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to travel.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out and certifying aircraft maintenance within the scope of your B1 licence and company authorisations.
• Providing Aircraft on Ground (AOG) and line maintenance support to customers.
• Performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections and defect rectification.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting aircraft defects and technical issues.
• Maintaining maintenance data, manufacturer instructions and company procedures.
• Supporting aircraft turnarounds and returning aircraft to service safely.
• Completing and certifying maintenance documentation accurately and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Ensuring compliance with UK CAA/EASA Part-145 requirements.
