Job summary

Volantes Technical Recruitment Ltd is currently seeking a B1.3 Licensed Engineer for Staverton, Wiltshire. The role involves delivering serviceable aircraft and maintenance facilities to meet customer requirements.

The position may require line maintenance away from Staverton and includes a 6-4-4 shift pattern. The ideal candidate will hold UK CAA B1.3, with preferable type ratings AW139, AW169 or H145, and a strong background in base maintenance.

Qualifications

• UK CAA B1.3 Licence is mandatory.
• Previous base maintenance experience with a wide range of servicing, inspection, repair and modifications.
• Willingness to travel; role may require cover across the country for AOG support.
• Good working knowledge of aircraft maintenance regulations, Health & Safety and Human Factors.

Responsibilities

• Complete all allocated, planned and ad-hoc maintenance tasks.
• Manage performance/quality of works in line with company procedures.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Maintain licences and type ratings to prevent lapse.
• Communicate professionally with customers and contacts.
• Accurately record timekeeping in the system.
• Ensure safe completion of maintenance with regard to risk.
