Job summary

EZ Living Furniture in Belfast is seeking an experienced Home Delivery Van Driver (B Licence) or delivery assistant to provide an efficient home delivery service and ensure timely deliveries to customers' homes. The role requires excellent customer care and flexibility to meet customer expectations.

The position is based in Belfast and serves adjoining counties. Training will be provided to the right candidate who demonstrates motivation and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• Experience driving vans with a full, clean B driving licence.
• Good knowledge of city and county road networks in the Belfast area.
• Preferably 1 year of home delivery experience; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an outstanding customer experience at all times
• Review orders prior to delivery
• Unload goods as per client specifications
• Assemble furniture in customers’ homes
• Remove old furniture where necessary and pre-arranged
• Maintain ongoing communication with Logistics and Customer Service teams
• Maintain dress code by wearing uniform
• Conduct vehicle inspection before departing
• Work as a stock assistant in store 3 days per week
• Accept deliveries, unload and store goods
• Assist with pricing of goods
• Disassemble and wrap items for deliveries
• Maintain a clean and appealing store

The Person If you are an experienced Home Delivery Van Driver (B Licence driver) or delivery assistant with a strong work ethic and a genuine desire to provide excellent customer care, EZ Living Furniture is looking for you. The successful candidate will provide an efficient home delivery service and be responsible for ensuring timely delivery to customers’ homes. Excellent interpersonal skills and a flexible approach are essential to meet and exceed customer expectations. This position is based in Belfast and serves adjoining counties. We will provide training to the right person who demonstrates motivation and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an outstanding customer experience at all times
• Review orders prior to delivery
• Unload goods as per client specifications
• Assemble furniture in customers’ homes
• Remove old furniture where necessary and pre‑arranged
• Maintain ongoing communication with Logistics and Customer Service teams
• Maintain personal appearance by following EZ Living’s dress code – must wear uniform
• Conduct vehicle inspection before departing
• Work as a stock assistant in store 3 days per week
• Accept deliveries, unload and store goods
• Assist with pricing of goods
• Disassemble and wrap items for deliveries
• Maintain a clean and appealing store

Skills and Qualifications

• Preferably 1 year of home delivery experience, but training will be provided
