Job summary

A leading consultancy is seeking an Azure Solutions Architect to support a flagship Azure migration programme. The candidate should have proven experience in Azure Solutions and .NET, with the ability to lead migration strategies and communicate effectively with stakeholders. The position is a contract role with remote work and occasional travel across the UK.

Qualifications

• Proven Azure Solutions / Technical Architecture experience.
• Deep .NET knowledge (WCF, IIS, SOAP services).
• Hands‑on understanding of Azure App Services, Functions, and API Management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the discovery and migration of a legacy web service into Azure.

WeDo are supporting one of our key consultancy partners on a flagship Azure migration programme for a major enterprise client — a high‑profile engagement where quality of delivery is absolutely critical.

They’re looking for a hands‑on Azure Architect with a .NET background (WCF, IIS, Windows Server) to lead the discovery and migration of a legacy web service into Azure.

The goal: a like‑for‑like replatform, minimal change, maximum precision.

Responsibilities

You’ll be the one who can cut through the noise, make smart technical calls, and give confidence to senior stakeholders. The client’s internal team is strong on infrastructure — they just need an Azure expert who’s done this before and can deliver cleanly and fast.

What you’ll bring:

• Proven Azure Solutions / Technical Architecture experience
• Deep .NET knowledge (WCF, IIS, SOAP services)
• Hands‑on understanding of Azure App Services, Functions, and API Management
• Experience leading discovery and defining migration strategies
