Job summary

FORT - Future of Recruiting Technologists is seeking an Associate Solution Architect to join a growing, technology-led fintech business in the North-West. You will transition from a technical development background into solutions architecture, working with a small team of expert Architects.

The role requires strong C#/.NET, Azure services evaluation, and experience liaising with stakeholders. You’ll explore AI solutions using Azure technologies and may engage in DevOps and PoC work as part of

Qualifications

• Strong C#/.NET experience is required.
• Experience evaluating Azure services and tools for projects.
• Experience liaising with stakeholders to shape designs.
• Familiarity with Azure AI technologies (ML, CV, NLP) is important.
• Database design experience is beneficial.
• Familiar with DevOps practices and delivering PoCs.

We’re working with a growing, technology-led business that operates a high-traffic, customer-facing digital platform at the core of its operations.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has ambitions to move into an Architecture role, is currently operating as a technical architect or junior architect role who is ready to move into solutions architecture!

The What

Our client has signed off a new role in their solution architecture team to continue their digital transformation efforts - an Associate Solution Architect would be working closely within a small team of expert Solution Architects.

• Someone who is experienced from a technical development background (our client is a microsoft house so strong C#, .NET experience is required)
• Expected to evaluate and select appropriate Azure services, frameworks, and tools based on project requirements.
• Someone who has gained experienced from a solutions perspective; building designs and liasing with stakeholders.
• Opportunity to gain experience working with AI solutions using Azure AI technologies such as Azure Machine Learning, Azure Cognitive Services (e.g. Computer Vision, Text Analytics, Speech, Azure Bot Service, and Azure Databricks)
• Any database design experience would be beneficial

Additionally familiarity with DevOps practices, experience producing proof-of-concepts and being truly passionate about Azure & cloud is a must!
