Job summary

RSM UK is seeking a Technical Solution Architect to ensure Azure-based solutions are sound, secure and aligned with architecture standards. You will work across technical, solution and assurance areas within a federated UK IT model, focusing on landing zones, identity, Key Vault and cost management.

The role involves shaping the shared Azure platform and producing evidence-based recommendations, with a balance of architecture and assurance responsibilities across projects.

Qualifications

• Significant hands-on experience designing and delivering solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• Ability to read and assess application code, infrastructure-as-code and pipeline configuration.
• Strong knowledge of Azure landing zones, networking, Entra ID and Key Vault.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain technical reference architectures across Azure platform and data services.
• Translate business requirements into secure end-to-end designs covering components, data flows and hosting.
• Review innovations against standards and guardrails using artefacts as evidence.
• Promote reuse of platform services and data patterns while guiding delivery teams.
