Job summary

RSM UK is hiring a Technical Solution Architect to lead end-to-end solution design on our Azure platform. You will operate across technical architecture, solution architecture and solution assurance, ensuring secure, scalable designs and alignment with guardrails.

The role sits within an environment of federated teams, with hybrid working and a focus on delivery against business priorities and project demand.

Qualifications

• Significant hands-on experience designing and delivering solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• Ability to read application code, IaC and pipeline configurations (C#/.NET, Python) or Terraform.
• Strong knowledge of Azure landing zones, networking, Entra ID, Key Vault and policy.
• Experience applying architecture standards in federated or multi-team environments.
• Evidence-based technical judgments with clear designs and findings.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain technical reference architectures across Azure, networking and data services.
• Contribute to the evolution of the shared Azure platform and governance patterns.
• Assess technologies and investigate performance, security, operability and cost issues.
• Maintain architecture artefacts, roadmaps and standards documentation.
• Translate business requirements into end-to-end designs covering components and data flows.
• Produce designs, diagrams, options appraisals and architecture decision records.
• Promote reuse of platform services and guide delivery teams through implementation.
• Review in-flight solutions against standards and guardrails with evidence.
