Job summary

Atreides LLC. seeks a Senior Solutions Architect to lead secure, scalable Azure environments supporting defence platforms. You will head a team of architects and engineers, set priorities, and ensure deliveries meet strict security and performance standards.

You will guide architectural direction, govern design reviews, and drive IaC implementations while collaborating with stakeholders worldwide. This role combines technical excellence with people leadership in a fast-paced, mission-focused

Qualifications

• Experience leading cloud architecture teams on large Azure programmes.
• Strong knowledge of Azure landing zone design and security by design.
• Experience with IaC and modern DevOps toolchains; familiarity with MDM and secure environments.

Responsibilities

• Coach and develop a high-performing team of architects and engineers.
• Set the technical direction for Azure landing zones and governance.
• Chair design reviews and present options analysis to stakeholders.
• Design secure Azure solutions with scalable, resilient topologies.
• Deploy and manage Azure infrastructure via IaC (Bicep/Terraform).
• Direct CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps/GitLab CI/CD) and automated testing.
• Lead introduction of new capabilities (mobile, geospatial analytics, zero-trust).
• Oversee monitoring, capacity planning and cost control for cloud workloads.
• Liaise with defence partners and suppliers to meet requirements and security policies.
• Maintain architecture standards, runbooks and audit-ready documentation.
