Job summary

Staffordshire County Council is seeking an IT Architect to lead DDaT initiatives across Azure, SharePoint, security and infrastructure. The role focuses on designing secure, scalable solutions while guiding stakeholders through high-level and technical designs.

You will operate in a hybrid setup with occasional on-site collaboration to drive cloud adoption and transformation initiatives aligned to the council's long-term technology strategy.

Qualifications

• Experience in an architecture function with delivery of High Level Designs (HLD) and technical solution designs.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and technical architecture leadership across a diverse technology estate.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders, project teams and specialists to ensure secure, scalable solutions aligned with long-term strategy.
• Guide cloud adoption and ongoing transformation as part of the technology roadmap.
