Job summary

Staffordshire Government is seeking an IT Architect within the DDaT division to lead architectural efforts across Microsoft Azure, SharePoint, OneDrive and security domains. The role focuses on delivering secure, scalable designs and driving cloud adoption within a predominantly on-premises environment.

You will collaborate with senior stakeholders to shape technology strategy, produce HLDs and TDA documentation, and ensure alignment with strategic goals.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT Architecture, Solution Architecture or Infrastructure Architecture.
• Proven experience with HLD and Technical Design Authority (TDA).
• Strong Microsoft technologies knowledge: Azure, SharePoint, OneDrive.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Security Technologies, Entra ID / Azure AD.
• Experience in Infrastructure, Virtualisation, Networking and Security.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and technical architecture leadership across a diverse technology estate.
• Ensure solutions are fit-for-purpose, secure, scalable and aligned with long-term strategy.
• Produce High Level Designs (HLD) and Technical Design Authority documents.
