Job summary

Solicitors Regulation Authority is seeking a Platform Engineer to govern, optimise and automate our cloud and data platforms, focusing on Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric. The role involves designing standardised environments, governance controls and scalable platform management practices to support production delivery.

You will work with Architecture, CloudOps, DevOps, Security and Delivery teams to reduce complexity, improve cost effectiveness and increase visibility across our technology

Qualifications

• Proven experience in platform engineering or cloud administration.
• Experience with governance, monitoring and access management.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric environments.
• Experience with IaC and deployment tooling.

Responsibilities

• Own governance, lifecycle management and optimisation of cloud/platform environments.
• Design standardised environment structures and compliance controls.
• Collaborate with Architecture, CloudOps, DevOps, Security and Delivery teams.
• Drive automation and Infrastructure as Code to improve delivery and cost efficiency.
• Support Fabric platform operations including capacity management and access controls.
