Job summary

Levy Global in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Platform Engineer to join a large-scale Azure environment. The role focuses on building, automating and evolving a modern cloud platform supporting critical business services.

This hands-on engineering position covers platform engineering, automation, security, networking and cloud operations in a hybrid setup with 2 days on-site in Yorkshire.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure in large enterprise environments.
• Proficient in Terraform IaC for platform services.
• Experience with Landing Zones, policy and governance.
• Knowledge of Entra ID, RBAC and PIM.
• Strong networking, security controls and monitoring capabilities.
• Experience with GitHub or Azure DevOps for CI/CD.
• Understanding of FinOps and Azure cost optimisation.
• Experience with container technologies and cloud-native apps.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain and enhance Azure platform services at scale.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Improve Azure Landing Zones, governance and security controls.
• Automate cloud deployments and operational processes.
• Manage Azure networking, connectivity and platform resilience.
• Enhance monitoring, logging and observability across the platform.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver scalable cloud capabilities.
• Support cloud modernisation initiatives and adoption of Azure AI services where appropriate.
