Role:

• The Azure Network Engineer will be responsible for LAN & Wi-Fi - 3rd party collaboration and management - Juniper and Aruba.
• WAN - monitoring & 3rd party collaboration.
• Unified Communications management.
• Servers & Storage management.
• Cloud Management - 3rd party collaboration.
• Cloud Configuration - Azure Networking and Tenants.
• Cloud Infrastructure Hosting (Infrastructure as a Service).
• Backup and Recovery Services - Commvault.
• Firewall Management - 3rd party collaboration - Fortinet.
• Build Hardening and reviews.

Profile:

• The Azure Network Engineer should have experience with Windows Server 2012, 2016, 2022.
• Experience with security patching and backups (Commvault).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code is advantageous.
• Understanding and experience with change management.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. The post holder will communicate primarily within their department, with users across the organisation, and with 3rd party suppliers.
• The ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Provide training to staff on technical products and procedures, primarily to team leaders and their teams within the department.
• Trained in ITIL and understands its importance within an IT function.
• Formal Microsoft Certifications.
