Job summary

Transact is seeking a hands-on developer to build and support modern applications and integrations across our internal systems and external SaaS platforms in the UK. You will work cross‑functionally with Development, Engineering & Project teams to advance application logic and enable integration between systems using PHP and Azure PaaS services.

You will design secure API integrations (REST/GraphQL) and contribute to CI/CD pipelines in Azure, ensuring scalable, secure, and maintainable

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong knowledge of cloud application design concepts (Azure PaaS, serverless).
• Proficiency in PHP (v8+) and OO programming with Laravel, Symfony, or Yii2.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain intranet applications using relevant web frameworks.
• Provide user support and resolve application issues as required.
• Design and implement secure API integrations and data flows (REST, GraphQL).
• Contribute to integration design, selecting approaches based on business needs.
• Troubleshoot, test, and maintain systems for performance, reliability and security.
• Develop cloud-based solutions using Azure PaaS services (App Services, Functions).
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes in Azure environments.
• Apply "Secure by Design" and secure coding practices.
• Produce and maintain clear technical documentation for APIs, integrations and processes.
