Job summary

Orbit Group is recruiting for a newly created Integration Developer role within its Technology & Information team. The role focuses on building and supporting secure, high-performance integrations on the Microsoft Azure platform, including Logic Apps, Functions and Data Factory, with modern CI/CD practices.

The position offers agile working with 2-4 days per month in Coventry, and opportunities for professional development and a purpose-driven culture focused on progress and making a difference.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Azure Integration Services and Logic Apps.
• Proven ability to build reliable, high-performance integrations.
• Strong SQL/T-SQL development experience.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD and IaC.
• Understanding of integration patterns and API design.
• Experience developing and supporting applications using C#/.NET technologies is desirable.
• Knowledge of data transformation and mapping (XSLT, Liquid) is desirable.
• Exposure to Power Platform and reporting/visualisation tools is desirable.
• Experience migrating legacy integration platforms is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Build and support reliable, secure and high-performance integrations on the Microsoft Azure platform.
• Develop end-to-end integration solutions using Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Service Bus, Event Grid, API Management and Data Factory.
• Implement monitoring and alerting using Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
• Build secure integrations using private endpoints, VNets and Azure Key Vault.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and YAML.
• Develop SQL queries, stored procedures and data processes to support integrations.
• Produce clear integration documentation and support runbooks.

Salary: £63,342 - 69,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong experience with Azure Integration Services components, including Azure Logic Apps.
• Proven ability to build reliable, high-performance integrations.
• Strong SQL and T-SQL development experience.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code.
• Good knowledge of integration patterns, API design principles and industry best practices.
• Experience developing and supporting applications using C#/.NET technologies is desirable.
• Understanding of data transformation and mapping techniques, including tools such as XSLT and Liquid is desirable.
• Exposure to Microsoft Power Platform and reporting/visualisation tools is desirable.
• Experience contributing to the modernisation and migration of legacy integration platforms and services is desirable.
