Job summary
TyneStack Ltd in Newcastle upon Tyne is seeking an experienced DevOps Manager to lead and evolve our cloud infrastructure and DevOps capability, driving reliability, automation and operational excellence across a modern Azure estate.
You will partner with engineering, security and senior technology leadership to shape infrastructure strategy, improve platform resilience and enable our technology transformation, while mentoring a high-performing team in a hybrid working environment.
Qualifications
- Strong Azure experience across IaaS and PaaS environments.
- Proven leadership of DevOps or Infrastructure teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience in Financial Services or regulated environments is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing DevOps team.
- Own and evolve the Microsoft Azure platform across IaaS and PaaS services.
- Drive improvements in platform reliability, scalability and security.
- Oversee Azure infrastructure, networking, storage and platform services.
- Implement and enhance CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
- Governance, change management and reporting to senior leadership.
