Job summary

RedTech Recruitment Ltd. is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join a well-established technology team. The role focuses on supporting DevOps and infrastructure, driving automation, and improving deployment processes within secure, regulated environments.

You will work with a modern DevOps and cloud stack, including Azure, CI/CD pipelines, and on-premises platforms, with hybrid work arrangements and office presence required at least 2 days per week in Leicestershire.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure is essential
• At least 3 years' commercial experience in a DevOps role
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI or Azure DevOps
• Understanding of networking, security and system administration principles
• Experience with Azure networking and cloud infrastructure management
• Knowledge of containerisation and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python and/or Bash
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication and documentation skills
• Eligibility to obtain UK security clearance

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for secure software delivery
• Administer and optimise Azure and on-premises environments
• Implement monitoring, logging and alerting across critical systems
• Embed security best practices in infrastructure and deployment
• Develop scripts and automation to improve efficiency
• Troubleshoot and resolve deployment issues across the application lifecycle
• Manage incidents and requests per ITIL framework
