Job summary

donorflex CRM seeks a DevOps Infrastructure Engineer to modernise our charity SaaS platform. You will bridge development and IT operations to automate processes, manage Azure cloud infrastructure, and support migration from a Windows app to a new cloud solution.

You’ll contribute to secure, scalable delivery and share expertise across teams. The role requires hands-on Azure experience, CI/CD, and Windows server administration, with a focus on security, monitoring, and automation.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Azure cloud services exposure (App Service, Azure SQL, etc.).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerisation.
• Strong Windows Server administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of GDPR and Cyber Essentials / ISO security standards.
• MSSQL tuning and troubleshooting experience.
• Second-line/infrastructure support experience with complex client issues.

Responsibilities

• Manage our Azure cloud estate and CI/CD pipeline.
• Provision and manage cloud and server infrastructure programmatically.
• Support desktop clients with Windows, database, and hosting expertise.
• Enforce security, coordinate penetration testing, manage secrets and access controls.
• Set up real-time monitoring, alerts, and log analysis to measure system health against SLAs.
• Troubleshoot and tune performance across the stack.
• Provide second-line infrastructure support and root cause analysis on incidents.
• Deliver professional services (data transfers, migrations, installs).
• Write knowledgebase articles and SOPs.
• Champion automation and DevOps practices within the business.
