Job summary

Searchability is seeking a DevOps Engineer (Azure / Terraform) to own cloud infrastructure and automation for an education-sector client. The role is Newcastle-based with remote work and one day per month in the Newcastle office. You will write Terraform code, enhance observability and build CI/CD pipelines for reliable deployments.

The ideal candidate has hands-on Azure experience and strong scripting with CI/CD, PowerShell and related tools, with focus on security hardening and monitoring.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Azure infrastructure and Terraform coding experience.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain and improve Azure infrastructure and Terraform code.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines and strengthen infrastructure security.
• Investigate production issues using telemetry, logs and metrics.
• Explain the code, configuration and technical decisions behind your work.
