Job summary

Interact Consulting Limited is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to own security-focused Azure infrastructure using Terraform in a 6-month UK-based contract. The role is fully remote and demands hands-on coding to deliver secure, production-grade infrastructure.

You will lead security initiatives, implement identity protections, and strengthen CI/CD with security controls across Azure DevOps pipelines and Defender for Cloud.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services and Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Strong security engineering background with a focus on secure CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience delivering production-grade infrastructure with codified controls and governance.

Responsibilities

• Build and enforce secure Azure infrastructure using Terraform (modular, scalable, production-ready).
• Implement perimeter security with Azure Front Door + WAF and bot protection tuning.
• Define governance using Azure Policy as code for networking, firewall, and compliance.
