Job summary

L&Q Living is building a modern data platform on Azure, demanding hands-on engineers to design and build scalable data pipelines across the organisation. You’ll work with Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse and Logic Apps to bring data from multiple sources into a governed enterprise data platform.

You’ll collaborate with architects, analysts and delivery squads in an Agile setup, reporting to the Lead Data Engineer, and work from London Stratford or Manchester Trafford with a hybrid working

Qualifications

• Relevant degree or equivalent experience in IT, Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong experience with Azure data services, ETL/ELT, and data warehousing concepts.
• Proven ability to design and deliver scalable data pipelines in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure tools (Data Factory, Databricks).
• Ingest, transform and model data from multiple sources into the data platform.
• Optimise data flows for performance, reliability and reusability.
• Support data quality, reconciliation and monitoring processes.
• Work autonomously across the full data lifecycle from source to insight.
