Job summary

A leading technology firm is seeking a Security Engineer to design, implement, and operate security controls across a hybrid environment, focusing on Azure, on-prem infrastructure, and SaaS platforms. This role involves working closely with engineering and application teams to ensure security is embedded into the architecture, along with incident response and compliance oversight. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in cloud security, identity management, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in cloud security.
• Working knowledge of compliance standards including ISO 27001 and PCI DSS.
• Solid understanding of incident response across identity and cloud workloads.

Responsibilities

• Design and operate security controls across Azure and on-prem infrastructure.
• Govern cloud security and maintain security baselines.
• Support compliance and audit activities related to security.

Skills

Hands-on experience securing Azure environments

Investigative skills for log analysis and incident response

Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory

DevSecOps or CI/CD security practices

Familiarity with AWS security fundamentals
