Job summary

IMT Resourcing Solutions is recruiting a 2nd Line Support Engineer for a Bromsgrove hybrid role, offering up to £40,000 and benefits.

You will provide 2nd line support across incidents and service requests, manage Windows Server, AD, M365, Azure-based services and security tooling, with a focus on Azure Virtual Desktop.

This permanent position suits an experienced engineer seeking growth in cloud and security technologies within a global tech environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft infrastructure and 2nd line support.
• Knowledge of Azure, M365, security tooling and cloud services.
• Background in MSP or Service Desk is valuable.

Responsibilities

• Provide 2nd Line support across incidents and service requests, troubleshooting through to resolution.
• Support technologies including Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra ID, Group Policy, Microsoft 365, Intune and Azure Virtual Desktop.
• Monitor Azure IaaS, PaaS and SaaS environments, Microsoft 365 services and network connectivity.
• Investigate and resolve security alerts relating to user accounts, suspicious activity, antivirus and endpoint detection.
• Review, install and test application and security updates, using automation where appropriate.
• Support Azure resources including virtual machines, vNets and Storage Accounts.
• Assist with customer migrations and the implementation of new technical solutions.
• Maintain clear communication with customers and internal technical teams throughout incidents and projects.
