Job summary

Simpson Associates in the United Kingdom is seeking a Cloud Platform Senior Consultant to design, implement and manage Azure platform solutions for clients. You will take a senior technical lead across landing zones, networking, identity, security, governance and cost optimisation to ensure secure, well-architected environments.

You will guide platform design decisions, lead discovery and implementation engagements, and collaborate with data platform and security colleagues to deliver end-to-end

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience designing and implementing Azure infrastructure for enterprise clients.
• Experience with landing zones, Cloud Adoption Framework, and Well-Architected Framework.
• Proficient in IaC with Azure Bicep and/or Terraform; CI/CD via Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Knowledge of hub-and-spoke networking, private endpoints, DNS zones, VPN/ExpressRoute.
• Experience with Entra ID, RBAC, Key Vault, Defender for Cloud and security controls.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to guide senior client discussions.

Responsibilities

• Lead Azure infrastructure design and implementation for diverse client environments.
• Own discovery workshops, technical design sessions, and architectural guidance.
• Deliver client-facing architecture documentation and implementation plans.
• Mentor peers and contribute to reusable delivery accelerators and patterns.
• Participate in on-call activities and ensure high-quality delivery.
