Job summary

La Fosse is seeking a Cloud Platform Manager to lead a team of 8 Infrastructure Engineers while remaining hands‑on in the Azure platform evolution. You will drive cloud strategy, governance, and DevOps practices across a large Azure estate.

The role combines technical delivery with leadership, guiding projects from design to implementation and collaborating with stakeholders to optimise cost, security, and performance. Remote‑first with occasional travel to Newcastle/London.

Qualifications

• Strong hands‑on Azure Infrastructure experience.
• Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipeline expertise.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform.
• PowerShell scripting and automation skills.
• Knowledge of Azure Landing Zones and cloud governance.
• Experience leading, mentoring or managing technical teams.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Proven experience delivering infrastructure and cloud projects.

Cloud Platform Manager – Azure Infrastructure

Salary: Up to £75,000 (£81,000 for London-based candidates)

Location: Remote-first with occasional travel to Newcastle or London

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Platform Manager to join a growing technology function and play a key role in shaping the future of a large-scale Azure environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys remaining hands‑on technically whilst leading and developing a team of skilled engineers.

You'll be responsible for driving cloud infrastructure strategy, improving operational excellence, supporting major project delivery and helping establish best practice across a modern Azure estate.

The Role

• Knowledge of Azure Landing Zones and cloud governance
• Experience leading, mentoring or managing technical teams

• Proven experience delivering infrastructure and cloud projects
