Job summary

TechNET Digital is seeking an Azure Cloud Engineer for a permanent role in the Cheltenham area. The role involves hands-on engineering across Azure environments, improving infrastructure, enhancing security, resilience, and governance while supporting cloud migrations and modernisation efforts.

You will work across Azure networking, compute, storage and identity, using IaC and automation with Terraform, Bicep and PowerShell, and you’ll be a genuine hands-on engineer capable of diagnosing

Qualifications

• Experience supporting Microsoft Azure in enterprise environments.
• Strong infrastructure engineering knowledge.
• Hands-on engineer who can diagnose unfamiliar tech and take ownership.
• Experience with IaC and automation (Terraform/Bicep/PowerShell).

Responsibilities

• Manage and improve Azure infrastructure across the environment.
• Troubleshoot complex cloud and connectivity issues.
• Work on Azure networking, compute, storage and identity.
• Strengthen security and governance; support migrations and modernization.
• Enhance monitoring, resilience, backup and recovery; optimise cloud spend.
