Job summary

Mars Recruitment is seeking a Cloud Engineer in Abingdon on a permanent basis, responsible for building, deploying and maintaining cloud infrastructure. The role follows designs and standards from the Cloud Operations Manager and uses a code-first, automation-first approach.

The ideal candidate will have Azure expertise, IaC with Bicep, PowerShell and Azure CLI, plus Windows Server/SQL Server administration and ISO 27001 familiarity. Up to £55,000pa plus bonus; 1 day onsite per week.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure cloud environment.
• Proficient in infrastructure as code using Bicep.
• Scripting with PowerShell and Azure CLI.
• Experience deploying and managing virtualised compute/storage/security.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001 / Cyber Essentials Plus environments.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
