Job summary

Victrex invites a skilled Cloud Engineer to operate and maintain Microsoft Azure environments (IaaS, PaaS and cloud networking). You will ensure platforms stay secure, resilient, available and high performing, with a focus on reliability and scalable design.

You will lead monitoring and alert tuning via Azure Monitor, drive automation and cost optimisation, support backup and disaster recovery testing, and provide solid second‑ and third‑line incident support, while keeping comprehensive

• Hands-on experience supporting and administering Microsoft Azure cloud environments.
• Knowledge of Azure infrastructure, networking and cloud operations.
• Experience with backup, recovery and resilience testing.
• Understanding of cloud security principles, patch management and best practices.
• Experience with cloud cost management and optimisation.
• Proactive approach to problem solving and continual improvement.
