Job summary

VIQU IT is seeking an experienced Cloud Azure Architect to lead the design and integration of our next-generation hosting platform. Initial focus will be redevelopment of the Member Website, with future modernization planned.

You will architect secure, scalable web/mobile member apps on Azure App Services, AKS, or serverless functions, and manage Identity with Entra ID, MFA, and RBAC, along with data and API integrations to connect legacy systems and third-party services.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in cloud architecture and design of hosting platforms.
• Hands-on with Azure App Services, AKS and serverless components.
• Strong understanding of identity management (MFA, RBAC) and Entra ID.
• Experience delivering secure, scalable integration across systems.

Responsibilities

• Design Azure-based hosting platforms and AKS solutions.
• Define hybrid hosting architectures and resilience strategies.
• Lead architecture workshops and collaborate with development teams.
• Produce high-level and low-level designs plus deployment docs.

About the Role

The Client is seeking an experienced Cloud Azure Architect to lead the design and integration of its next-generation application hosting platform.

The initial focus will be supporting the redevelopment of the Member Website platform being delivered by Pixel, however the platform is expected to support additional application modernisation initiatives in the future.

You will be responsible for the Architecture design of secure, scalable web or mobile member apps hosted on Azure App Services, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), or serverless functions. You will be responsible for Identity and Access Management: Integrate Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) for secure member authentication, multi-factor authentication (MFA), and role-based access control (RBAC). Along with, data management and API integration overseeing the creation of secure RESTful APIs to connect the member app with legacy systems, CRM platforms, or third-party services.
