Job summary

Synapri is seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to lead Azure and GCP initiatives within a major banking cloud transformation. You will drive modernisation of legacy apps, define cloud reference architectures, and guide secure, cloud-native patterns across governance forums.

This hands-on role requires strong Azure and GCP skills, Terraform, Kubernetes, and CI/CD experience, plus the ability to influence senior stakeholders in a hybrid London-based environment.

Qualifications

• Senior Architect with 5+ years in Cloud Architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience delivering cloud transformation in banking or regulated finance.
• Strong Terraform, Kubernetes, CI/CD and cloud-native patterns.

I'm currently recruiting for an experienced Cloud Architect to join a major cloud transformation and application modernisation programme within a leading financial services organisation.

This is a hands‑on architecture role, working across Azure and GCP to modernise legacy applications, support core banking transformation and drive adoption of secure, cloud‑native technologies.

Rate: Inside IR35

Duration: Initial 6 months

Location: Hybrid in Central London

What you'll be doing:

• Define and deliver Azure & GCP cloud architectures and reference patterns
• Lead application migration and modernisation across rehost, re-platform, refactor and cloud‑native approaches
