Job summary

ClearRoute is an engineering consultancy specialising in Quality Engineering, Cloud Platforms and Developer Experience. We are seeking a hands-on AWS app developer who can design and implement guardrails, tools and engineering practices to enable safe, scalable AWS workloads.

You will work with enterprise teams to migrate applications to a modern platform, pairing with teams and coaching on best practices while collaborating with security, platform, and engineering groups to drive uptake and

Qualifications

• Hands-on AWS application development experience.
• Strong understanding of AWS core services and developer tooling.
• Ability to translate research into practical implementation.

• Experience migrating workloads to a new platform.

Responsibilities

• Investigate current patterns for enterprise use of AWS applications and tooling.
• Design and implement guardrails, controls, and engineering patterns for AWS app development.
• Contribute to the path to platform, support team adoption and application migration.
• Help define how teams should understand platform capabilities.
• Drive adoption through changes to development practices.
• Lead research, PoCs, and align with teams on technical directions.
• Collaborate across engineering, platform, security, and enterprise teams.
