Job summary

Microlise is looking for an AWS Platform Engineer to build a production-ready cloud platform on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will design reusable AWS capabilities and automation that empower analytics, AI and digital services across the organisation.

You’ll establish security controls, observability and scalable deployment patterns, collaborating with Architecture, Security and Data Engineering teams to deliver secure, reliable infrastructure at scale.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience building and operating AWS infrastructure.
• Experience with Terraform and IaC tooling.
• Experience with multi-account AWS environments and governance.
• Ability to automate with scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell).

Responsibilities

• Build reusable AWS capabilities and deployment patterns.
• Develop production-ready AWS foundations for Analytics and AI programs.
• Create CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and platform services.
• Implement AWS security controls, IAM patterns and secrets management.
• Establish monitoring, logging and operational observability.
• Collaborate with Architecture, Security and Data Engineering teams.
