Version 1 in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to design, build and maintain cloud-native applications using serverless services.

You will develop infrastructure as code with CDK, Terraform or CloudFormation, contribute to event-driven microservices, and collaborate across teams to support CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, SQS, Cognito, CloudWatch).
• Proficiency in Python, Java, Golang, TypeScript, and React.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (CDK, Terraform, or CloudFormation).

Locations Belfast, Birmingham, Edinburgh, London, Manchester, Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom

• Design, build, and maintain cloud-native applications using AWS serverless services (e.g., Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, SQS, Cognito, CloudWatch).
• Develop infrastructure as code using AWS CDK or similar tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Able to build front/back-end solutions
• Contribute to event-driven and microservices architectures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, support DevOps processes (CI/CD pipelines, configuration management), and troubleshoot issues across the stack.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services, especially Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, SQS, Cognito, CloudWatch.
• Proficiency in 1/more languages e.g. Python, Java, Golang, TypeScript, React
• Experience with infrastructure as code (AWS CDK, Terraform, or CloudFormation).
• Solid understanding of microservices and event-driven architectures.
• Familiarity with DevOps tooling
• Experience with test-driven development and relevant frameworks.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across the stack.
