Version 1 seeks a skilled Cloud/Platform Engineer to design and maintain cloud-native applications on AWS, with emphasis on serverless services and multi-tenant Kubernetes. You will develop infrastructure as code, build REST/GraphQL APIs, and support CI/CD pipelines in a regulated environment.

You will collaborate across teams, implement secure-by-design practices and contribute to platform reliability and observability. Remote-friendly with flexible working arrangements in the UK.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, SQS, Cognito, CloudWatch).
• Experience designing, building, deploying and operating AWS workloads.
• Experience in regulated and secure environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain cloud-native applications using AWS serverless services (e.g. Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, SQS, Cognito, and CloudWatch).


• Architect and support highly regulated, multi-tenant EKS/Kubernetes clusters.


• Develop Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK or similar tools (e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation).


• Build and support modern web applications using React and TypeScript.


• Implement and optimise REST and GraphQL APIs.


• Contribute to event-driven and microservices architectures.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, support DevOps processes (CI/CD pipelines and configuration management), and troubleshoot issues across the technology stack.

• Proficiency in TypeScript.


• Hands-on experience with React frontend development.

• AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect and/or DevOps Engineer).
