Job summary

Credera, a global consulting firm, seeks a senior data and AI platform architect for our Technology Solutions function in London. You will shape data and AI capabilities for public sector and regulated clients, lead delivery teams, and drive architectural direction across complex programs.

You will mentor engineers, integrate ML/GenAI into scalable solutions, and collaborate with senior stakeholders to ensure on-time, on-budget outcomes in a hybrid, client-facing role.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in data, analytics, and AI platform architecture.
• Expertise in AWS cloud-native data and analytics platforms across the data value chain.
• Experience designing scalable platform components for batch and real-time/streaming processing across microservices- and API-driven architectures.
• Experience integrating ML, Generative AI, and foundation models into enterprise solutions, including agentic AI approaches.
• Experience implementing data management, security, and governance for public sector and regulated environments, applying responsible AI principles.

Responsibilities

• Shape data and AI capabilities for public sector and regulated clients.
• Set architectural direction, advise senior stakeholders, and lead delivery teams.
• Own complex areas of delivery, combining hands-on architecture with senior leadership.
• Integrate machine learning, Generative AI, and large language models into scalable, secure solutions.
• Lead complex work to agreed time, cost, and quality, managing teams and serving as an escalation point.
• Assess risks and establish multidisciplinary subject matter expert teams to resolve issues.
• Mentor engineers and architects and build capability among junior team members and client counterparts.
