Job summary

Plentific in London is seeking an AWS Infrastructure Engineer to ensure the reliability and day-to-day operation of our cloud platform. You will own incidents, runbooks, and hands-on maintenance across production AWS environments using Terraform, Ansible and Linux.

You will partner with the DevOps Platform team to reduce failure rates, support security and compliance tasks, and help evolve IaC workflows while coordinating with engineering to diagnose infrastructure vs application issues.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with AWS in production environments
• Terraform operations in an operational context
• Ansible for configuration management and automation
• Strong troubleshooting across Linux systems and networking

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day operational support of production AWS environments across Portal/ESB and SaaS platforms
• Respond to AWS infrastructure incidents including P1/P2 escalations
• Perform break-fix activities across the AWS estate (EC2, data backups, outages)
• Triage and remediate issues on Linux servers and patching
• Maintain runbooks and incident playbooks for AWS services and Linux systems
• Support and maintain Ansible playbooks and roles for automation
• Apply and validate infrastructure changes via Terraform and resolve drift
• Monitor system health with CloudWatch and other observability tools
