This is a contract Role & Inside IR 35

Contract Duration: 6 months

We are seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to maintain and extend a Python and Java codebase responsible for automated provisioning of AWS accounts and infrastructure.

The role involves automating the provisioning and maintenance of AWS accounts and infrastructure, requiring significant systems integration within the organization.

Requirements include a few years of experience as a platform engineer using Python.

Required skills and experience:

• Experience with API servers using REST (Swagger, OpenAPI)
• Proficiency in Python Flask
• Experience with asynchronous system interaction models using pub/sub and messaging with Python Celery, RabbitMQ, and/or Airflow
• Knowledge of database modeling using ORM with SQLAlchemy on MySQL, familiar with object-relational concepts

Familiarity with code control procedures and tools such as Git is essential.

AWS Skills required:

• An AWS Practitioner or Solution Architect certification is highly desirable
• Solid understanding and deployment experience with AWS services such as:
• OU, VPC, IAM, Route 53, Load Balancer, EC2, EKS

Experience with AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, and Kubernetes is required. Familiarity with interfacing AWS infrastructure with external systems via APIs is necessary. Experience with AWS SDKs like boto3 is a plus.
