Location: London (Hybrid) | Contract: 12 months Fixed Term

Role Overview

The Cloud Platform Engineer will manage Pay.UK's Microsoft Azure and AWS cloud platforms, including all domains, subdomains, account subscriptions, services, and platform tenants. Responsibilities include managing the entire Microsoft Azure Fabric and AWS technology stacks, developing and maintaining data pipelines, supporting migration projects, and ensuring data integrity and security.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage cloud infrastructure and services across Azure and AWS environments.
2. Develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes using tools like Azure Data Factory, Power Automate, and Spark notebooks.
3. Support migration of legacy on-premise BI infrastructure to cloud-native platforms.
4. Design and implement multi-cloud data solutions, ensuring data security, integrity, and compliance.
5. Develop applications using Power Apps, Power BI, and Dataverse, and implement RPA solutions.
6. Manage user administration, system updates, and data policies in line with Pay.UK's standards.
7. Collaborate on architecture design and participate in governance forums.

Skills & Qualifications

• BSc/MSc in STEM or equivalent experience.
• Proven expertise in managing Microsoft Azure and AWS cloud platforms.
• Experience with BI and data engineering tools such as Databricks, ADLS, Azure ML Studio, and related technologies.
• Strong programming skills in SQL, Python, R, Java, or JavaScript.
