Job summary

N Consulting Global in London is seeking a highly experienced Technology Lead to drive a strategic application modernization programme, transforming legacy Java applications into scalable, secure and cloud-native solutions on AWS.

You will define the target architecture, lead engineering teams, guide database and platform modernisation, and act as a trusted technical advisor to customer stakeholders throughout discovery, design, build, migration and production transition.

Qualifications

• Capability required experience in enterprise Java engineering, architecture or technology leadership.
• Proven delivery of large-scale Java modernization or cloud transformation programmes on AWS.
• Strong hands-on experience with DynamoDB and Aurora PostgreSQL.
• Experience leading distributed teams, architecture governance and delivery leadership.
• Excellent communication with stakeholders and customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end modernization of Java applications into AWS cloud-native, microservices and event-driven architectures.
• Define modernization roadmap, target architecture and engineering guardrails.
• Drive API-first design, domain-driven design, serverless adoption and decomposition of monoliths.
• Own technical decisions, architecture reviews and production readiness.
• Provide hands-on support for prototypes, defects and performance tuning.
