Job summary

Get2Talent is partnering with a leading technology consultancy in the United Kingdom to recruit an experienced AWS DevOps Technical Consultant. The role is based in Birmingham and focuses on designing and managing secure AWS infrastructure, building automated CI/CD pipelines, and developing reusable IaC solutions using Terraform, Docker and Kubernetes.

You will lead technical delivery, advise on AWS architecture, mentor engineers, and promote Agile practices within an engaged team.

Qualifications

  • Strong commercial AWS experience.
  • Proven experience building new cloud infrastructure.
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automation and containerisation.
  • Experience with Terraform, Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Good understanding of AWS security principles and secure deployment practices.
  • Experience delivering within Agile teams.
  • Ability to lead technical solutions and take ownership of delivery.
  • Strong customer-facing and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Experience mentoring or supporting other engineers.

Security requirements

Applicants Must


  • Be a British citizen

  • Have lived permanently in the UK for the last five years

  • Be eligible to obtain UK security clearance


Qualifications

Create infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
