Get2Talent is supporting a leading technology consultancy in Manchester to recruit an experienced AWS DevOps Technical Consultant. You will design and secure AWS cloud infrastructure, build CI/CD pipelines, and develop IaC with Terraform to enable scalable platforms.

The role emphasizes hands-on delivery, agile ways of working, and strong stakeholder management. You will mentor engineers and help shape architecture while delivering high-value projects for clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and manage secure AWS cloud infrastructure


• Create automated CI/CD pipelines


• Develop reusable Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform


• Build and operate platforms for containerised applications


• Support software deployment, monitoring and operational performance


• Lead technical delivery throughout the full project lifecycle


• Advise customers on AWS architecture and technology choices


• Manage senior stakeholder relationships and key project deliverables

• Proven experience building new cloud infrastructure


• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code


• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automation and containerisation


• Experience with technologies such as Terraform, Docker and Kubernetes


• Good understanding of AWS security principles and secure deployment practices


• Experience delivering within Agile teams


• Ability to lead technical solutions and take ownership of delivery


• Strong customer-facing and stakeholder-management skills


• Experience mentoring or supporting other engineers

Security requirements

Applicants Must

• Be a British citizen


• Have lived permanently in the UK for the last five years


• Be eligible to obtain UK security clearance

Qualifications
