Job description

Job Title: AWS Cloud DevOps Analyst

We are seeking an AWS Cloud DevOps Analyst for a European leader in cloud implementation, application development, and managed services, working with the Government in Scotland.

Project Details:

1. 12 Month Contract (with extension possibility)
2. Inside IR35
3. 2 days on-site (bi-weekly)
4. Rate: £70 per hour (DOE)

Responsibilities:

• Examine new and existing AWS-hosted systems.
• Utilize AWS technical expertise to elicit, develop, and document requirements into EPICs and User Stories for the engineering scrum teams.
• Structure and prioritize requirements; communicate plans with stakeholders for review and approval.
• Advise on alternative or complementary approaches to meet requirements.
• Prepare and deliver presentations to application development teams and end-users to clarify complex requirements and system behavior.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Project Leads, Product Owners, Cloud Engineers, and other IT teams to resolve issues and ensure solutions are viable and consistent.
• Create specifications for new or modified AWS Cloud systems.
• Liaise with infrastructure architects, solution architects, cloud engineers, DBAs, security teams, and developers to develop new system functionalities.
• Document business guides, review online help, and assist in producing functional release notes.
• Analyze the business impact of requirements and prepare the organization for change.
• Support and mentor fellow Analysts.

Skills:

• Technical knowledge of AWS.
• BPSS or SC Clearance highly desired.
