Job summary

London Stock Exchange Group in London seeks a Lead to design and build our next generation AWS AI platform, shaping the technical foundation for strategic AI initiatives.

This role provides technical leadership for the AWS-based platform, owning core architectural decisions, setting engineering direction, and collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to deliver scalable, secure, and enterprise-grade solutions that accelerate AI adoption across LSEG.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience designing and implementing cloud AWS platform solutions.
• Deep expertise with AWS native services and AWS CAF.
• Proven experience building AWS Enterprise-Scale Landing Zones.
• Strong CI/CD engineering background.
• Infrastructure-as-Code with Terraform and GitLab.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and build advanced AWS cloud platform services and capabilities.
• Lead architectural decisions across provisioning, automation, CI/CD, networking, security, and cost management.
• Ensure effective implementation of AWS Enterprise-Scale Landing Zones.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, and specialists to improve cloud platform efficiency and reliability.
• Mentor and guide cloud engineering teams and communities of practice.
